Jesse McCartney celebrates Nelson Mandela

Jesse McCartney isn’t touring much this summer, but he lent his pipes to a great cause at the Mandela Day concert in late July!

“Mandela Day: A 46664 Celebration Concert” was held on July 18th at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The show celebrated the 91st birthday of the famed South African leader Nelson Mandela.

The teen heartthrob tweeted “Saturday, celebrated Mandela’s 91st b’day at radio city, Sunday, final BubbleQ, Monday concert and coasters. Heading home happy."

Jesse: re-releasing and re-touring

From Camden, New Jersey to Marne, Michigan, Jesse McCartney will be touring throughout the U.S. between now and the middle of July in support of his re-released album “Departure.”

The album “Departure: Recharged” has 4 new tracks. Body Language, Oxygen, Crash & Burn, and In My Veins.

It also has a remix of “How Do You Sleep?” with rapper/actor Ludacris.

Jesse McCartney performs on Thanksgiving

Jesse McCartney performed live during half-time at the Tennessee Titans vs. Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Day football game.

In an interview with JohnJay & Rich on November 24, 2008, Jordin Sparks mentioned that McCartney has approached her about working on her new album. McCartney is speculated to be one of the songwriters on her upcoming album.

Jesse and the Lili Claire foundation team up for those who matter the most--

This September 13, Jesse is scheduled to perform at Madalay Bay’s 'The Beach' to benefit the Lili Claire foundation.

The Lili Claire foundation benefits children with rare diseases, and raising money will help future research.

Need a reason to go besides seeing a famous artist perform an awesome concert for children with rare diseases? I didn't think so, but here's one anyway:

Immediately following the concert, Jesse’s film KEITH will have its World Premiere.

Enjoy!

One Night, Two Acts

Jesse recently gave an interview regarding the tour to MyFox Los Angeles. Wanna see it? Check it out here, and remember--the tour is only going to last one month, so don't miss out! Tickets for all the shows have already gone on sale!
